Here I am at my first 4th of July as an "almost" American and what better way to celebrate than to do it at one of the most meaningful place for me here in Las Vegas: Caesars Palace. The night honored the 50 years of history of the most famous hotel and casino in the world: a special appearance of Robbie Knievel, Evel's son that landed the jump over the hotel's icon fountains in 1989, Taylor Hicks, winner of the fifth season of America Idol, part of the cast of the musical Absinthe and the UNLV "Star of Nevada" Marching Band. Before the traditional fireworks the Red Bull Air Force stuntmen celebrated the Caesars Palace heritage in daredevil actions with an adrenaline-pumping jump landing on the Las Vegas Strip. The fantastic 13 minutes fireworks on the notes of the national anthem and other songs ended the magic night. Happy Birthday America!
Eccomi al mio primo 4th of July da "quasi" americana e quale modo migliore di passarlo se non in uno dei luoghi più significativi per me a Las Vegas: Caesars Palace. La serata all'insegna dei 50 anni del più famoso hotel e casino al mondo: tra le star della serata Robbie Knievel, figlio di Evel Knievel e fautore del famoso salto sopra le fontane del Caesars nel 1989, Taylor Hicks, vincitore della quinta edizione di American Idol, parte del cast del musical Absinthe e la "Star of Nevada" Marching Band della UNLV. Prima dei tradizionali fuochi d'artificio gli stuntmen della Red Bull Air Force hanno celebrato lo storico patrimonio del Caesars Palace nelle "Daredevil Action" paracadutandosi e atterrando nel cuore della famosa Las Vegas Strip di fronte alle iconiche fontane di Cesare. Per concludere i festeggiamenti 13 minuti di stratosferici fuochi d'artificio accompagnati dall'inno nazionale e altri motivi. Happy Birthday America!
