From Italy to Las Vegas: Some of my favorite restaurants in Las Vegas - Alcuni dei miei ristoranti preferiti a Las Vegas

Penso che noi italiani abbiamo grossi pregiudizi quando andiamo all'estero in particolare quando si parla di cibo. In Italia abbiamo ingredienti fantastici ma li usiamo quasi sempre negli stessi modi: pasta, pizza, qualche carne, qualche pesce. Tante volte non ci esponiamo molto alla cucina "esotica", almeno non molto come qui negli Stati Uniti, dove non si mangiano solo Hamburger e Hot Dog!
Las Vegas vanta una grandissima gamma di ristorante: fuori e dentro gli hotel, dai food truck ai ristoranti stellati, dall'italiano al thailandese, etc. Ecco alcuni dei miei ristoranti preferiti qui a Las Vegas.

I think that we Italians have big prejudices when we go abroad in particular regarding food. In Italy we have wonderful ingredients but we use them in a "boring" way: pasta, pizza, some meat dishes, some fish dishes. Many times we don't try the "exotic" cuisine, at least not like they do here in USA, where there are not only hamburgers and hot dogs! Las Vegas has a wide range of restaurants: inside and outside the hotels, from the food trucks to the starred restaurants, from the Italian to the Thailandese, etc. Here some of my favorite restaurants in Las Vegas.

The Strip

Giada: The first restaurant of Giada De Laurentiis, really popular here in America. Located at The Cromwell, it is open from breakfast to dinner. Some waiters are ITALIAN!

Sushi & Japanese

Nobu: I cannot survive without it! It is located at the Caesars Palace. The best best best best!

Nobu: Da buona "milanese" non posso vivere senza! Presso il Caesars Palace. Il meglio del meglio del meglio!

Sakana: I prefer the sushi "a-la-carte" but this all can eat is really good. Big range of rolls and wonderful fresh fish. To try the yellow tail nigiri.

Sakana: preferisco il sushi "a-la-carte", ma questo all you can eat è davvero buono. Grande gamma di rolls e meraviglioso pesce fresco. Da provare il nigiri pinna gialla.

Lunch - Pranzo

Vintner Grill: one of my favorite restaurants in Summerlin, really good for a nice and relaxing lunch. Fresh ingredients and wonderful cocktails!

Pizza

Settebello: the best pizza in Las Vegas! The real mozzarella di bufala, the real ham, the real ricotta... Two locations: Summerlin and Henderson.

Brunch

Honey Salt: As I already told you HERE the brunch (and not only) at Honey Salt is delicious: salty or sweet, sparkling or cocktails. From the local farmers to your brunch table!

Social Dinner

Carson Kitchen: this spot in Downtown is just unique. Informal and relaxing where you can taste great dishes and amazing cocktails! The menu is changing often and always fresh!
